第14回全国医学部国際交流協議会・講演会を開催／St. Marianna University School of Medicine organized the 14th Annual J-MICA Meeting

9月22日（金）、新百合トウェンティワンホールにて、第14回全国医学部国際交流協議会・講演会が開催されました。本講演会は、一般社団法人全国医学部国際交流協議会が主催しており、全国の医学部が国際交流の活動内容やお互いの抱える課題などを共有する場として、1年に1回開催されています。今年度は、薬理学 松本主任教授が同法人の理事を務めていることから、本学が幹事校となりました。
当日は、20大学から約50名が参加され、北川学長の開式の辞に続いて、松本主任教授をはじめ、群馬大学、埼玉医科大学、ハムカ医科大学の先生方、聖マリアンナ医科大学の研修医および東京慈恵会医科大学の学生から、コロナ禍における国際交流について発表いただきました。発表後はグループワークを通してコロナ禍における各大学の国際交流の状況について話し合い、自大学での課題や工夫した点などが共有され、参加者にとって有意義な場であったことが伺えました。
その後、次期幹事校である福島県立医科大学からご挨拶をいただき、大平国際交流センター長(総合診療内科学)の閉会の挨拶をもって講演会は終了となりました。その後の懇親会にも多数の方にご参加いただき、引き続き、活発な意見交換が行われました。
例年参加させていただいている本会の幹事校として関わらせていただいたことは、本学にとっても大変貴重な機会となりました。今後も国際交流に関する情報交換や課題の共有などを通し、本学の国際交流事業を発展できればと考えております。

On September 22, 2023, the 14th Annual J-MICA Meeting, organized by St. Marianna University School of Medicine, was held in Shin Yurigaoka. This meeting is held once a year by the participating universities of J-MICA (Japanese Medical University International Collaborative Assembly) and personnel related to international exchange programs gather from all over the country to share their experiences and assignments.
In total, about 50 people from 20 universities joined the event. Opening remarks by President Kitagawa was followed by presentations from Professor Matsumoto (Pharmacology), faculty members from Gunma University, Saitama Medical University, University of Muhammadiyah Prof. Dr. Hamka, St. Marianna University School of Medicine and a student from the Jikei University School of Medicine. After the presentations, groupwork was held where the participants shared what they experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the end, Fukushima Medical University, the organizer of the 15th Annual J-MICA Meeting, made a warm greeting for the next meeting and Professor Ohira (General Internal Medicine), Director of Center for International Exchange, made closing remarks.
