本学は、2020年6月4日付で韓国光州広域市にある Chosun University（韓国）と学術交流協定を締結いたしました。
Chosun University（韓国）は、学生3万人を擁する、人文、医療、エネルギー関連の分野で有名な私立大学です。数多くの研究センターを有しており、教育・研究の内容は韓国でもトップクラスです。
日本での提携校は、京都大学、大阪大学、九州大学、東北大学と、ほとんどが国立大学で、医学部単科大学との提携は本学が初めてとなります。昨年12月に Chosun University（韓国）から本学産婦人科学講座の鈴木直教授（国際交流センター長）に交流を希望する打診があったことを受け、このたびの協定締結に至りました。
コロナ禍で訪問は叶わず、郵送による署名協定書の取り交わしとなりましたが、Chosun University（韓国）からは、近い将来是非本学を訪問したいとのお話を頂いております。
今回の協定締結を機に、今後は本学の医学部生や医師の交流を促進して参りたいと考えております。

On June 4, 2020, our university concluded an academic exchange partnership with Chosun University in Gwangju, South Korea.
Chosun University is one of the oldest private universities in Korea, famous for humanities, medicine and energy-related fields with approximately 30,000 students. It has many research centers and is one of the leading educational and research institutions in Korea.
Almost all of their affiliated universities in Japan are national universities such as Kyoto University, Osaka University, Kyushu University, and Tohoku University. The academic agreement with St. Marianna University School of Medicine is their first agreement signed with a private medical school in Japan.
With the conclusion of this agreement, we will promote academic exchanges of medical students and doctors in the future.
